When asked what he likes best about his job, Geronimo said, “I like the power to create new stuff.” He builds next-generation apps like illio or custom applications for current Fortune 500 clients and new customers. On a typical day he drinks coffee, analyzes and writes code to find and solve problems using the latest technology and best coding practices. His most challenging and fun project was to migrate old terminal-based customs applications to web, integrating with old proprietary backend code and DB, learning the new development stack (MUMPS Cache) and creating a middleware to interact with a completely new Ember.js frontend. Geronimo enjoys camping and traveling. He is married with 3 little boys. Born in Ecuador, he made Pittsburgh his home in 2008.
