Datacom & security product selling guide

As part of its ONE WESCO initiative to become the supplier of choice for electrical, safety, MRO, datacom and security products to its customers, a client from WESCO’s datacom and security division was tasked with training the company’s electrical sales reps to sell datacom and security products. This client, who had previously worked with JP Enterprises on various marketing activities, approached JP Enterprises about creating a selling guide to use as the basis for the training. Because both the writer and the designer assigned to the project had strong backgrounds in data communications and networking from previous employment as well as years of experience in working on WESCO datacom and security marketing projects, the client was able to provide a simple outline of the content, which JP Enterprises fleshed out into a comprehensive 40-page booklet complete with descriptions, images, illustrations, frequently asked questions and a glossary of terms.
